Do I have to pay a call out fee on top of my fixed service price ?
No, A call out fee only applys to repairs, eg. your scooter is dead and won't start, this would involve a call out fee.
How does your pricing work on repairs ?
This all depends what you need. At Scootech we're upfront with our prices and always leave you in control of any additional costs that may accur. If you are unsure what the issue is, and need Scootech to check it out, we have a Repair Call Out of fee of $80.00 which includes the first 15 minutes of labour FREE. After this, we charge a low rate of $40 per half hour.
Do I have to pay on the day? Do you accept credit cards ?
Yes Payment needs to be made on completion. We Accept Eftpos, Mastercard and Visa via our mobile eftpos terminal. (American Express is not accepted)
A 2% surcharge applies for all credit accounts.
Will I know how much the scooter service or repair cost or will I get a big surprise ?
All or prices are on our service and repair page, before Scootech commences any additional repair, the mechanic will speak with you first and discuss the associated costs - you are always in control, so no nasty surprises.
Do you come out on a scooter to do the servicing and repairs ?
A back yard mechanic might, but we don't. We have the most professional fully equipped mobile workshop vans around and only employ trained technicians. Over 90% of all our work is performed at your home or office.
How soon can Scootech book me in ?
Scootech can usually book you in on the same or next business day. You can book online here or call (02) 9430 9898 to arrange a time.
Do you do service and repair work on Saturdays ?
Yes but due to the extra costs of Saturday overtime for our employees, there is a $30 surcharge for jobs booked in for the Saturday.
Do you work Public Holidays ?
No, we need to have some rest too.
